In recent years, a group of people with a shared interest in the route’s history, landscape, and future came together to form the Friends of St Michael’s Way. Working collaboratively, they help care for the path, promote the route locally and further afield, and support ongoing research into its cultural, spiritual, economic, and historical significance — past and present.
