In 2016, the Friends of St Michael’s Way launched a programme of public events celebrating the route’s history, landscape and cultural significance. The programme began with a contemporary art exhibition at the 12 Star Gallery, Europe House, Westminster, before returning to Cornwall for a series of walks, exhibitions, talks and community events held along St Michael’s Way throughout the summer.
In 2017 there was a continuation of these activities with further walking events, including Stepping on St Michael’s Way.
